The coastal town of Starigrad, near the city of Zadar, has a population of about 2,000 and is protected by the Velebit Mountains at the foot of the Starigrad Paklenica National Park, thus combining the beauty of the Croatian mountains with that of the crystal clear sea. You can easily reach the house via the A1 motorway, which is only 19 km away, or from the airports of Zadar or Split.

There are supermarkets, small fruit and vegetable stands, butcher’s shops, fishmongers, a doctor, pharmacy, post office, cash dispenser, cafes and restaurants with typical Dalmatian cuisine. In Starigrad you can practice numerous sports such as rafting, bungee jumping, diving or sailing, visit neighbouring tourist resorts and get to know the cultural and historical heritage of this area.
There are also other national parks in the vicinity where we can organize excursions. Boat trips to the Kornati islands are also possible, which can be combined with a visit to restaurants and swimming in secluded bays.
